CAND Student Scholarship

The Canadian Association of Naturopathic Doctors (CAND) is proud to announce the launch of the Shawn O’Reilly Scholarship for Leadership and Advocacy, honouring the legacy of our former Executive Director, Shawn O’Reilly, who retired from the CAND in 2024 after over 20 years of dedicated service.

Shawn was a tireless advocate for naturopathic medicine in Canada. Her leadership, vision, and unwavering commitment to advancing the profession have left a lasting impact. This scholarship celebrates her legacy by supporting the next generation of naturopathic doctors who embody her spirit of leadership and advocacy.

About the Scholarship

• Award Value: $2,000
• Eligibility:
  • Must be a student member of the Canadian Association of Naturopathic Doctors (CAND)
  • Enrolled in 3rd or 4th year at a CNME-accredited Canadian naturopathic medical school
  • In good academic standing (proof required)
  • Enrolled part-time (minimum 50% course load) or full-time
