Having an interest in science and nature as well as having a compassion in helping people is what brought Kris to becoming a Naturopathic Doctor. His undergraduate studies in Microbiology at the University of Manitoba exposed him to a lot of research in autoimmune disorders, the microbiome of the gut and how extraordinary our bodies are at healing. Then graduating from the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine (CCNM) in 2018 fueled his knowledge in natural therapies.
A proud member of the LGBTQ+ community who is involved in many community events, Kris has a passion of getting to know and bettering the lives of any individual and of any pronoun. He has previous experience at Sherbourne Health Centre’s HIV+ clinic, Naturopathic Doctors International Clinic in Nicaragua as well as the Robert Schad Naturopathic Clinic at CCNM. His special interests and skills are in conditions such as Type 2 Diabetes, Metabolic and Autoimmune diseases.
On his free time you will most often see Kris hiking various trails in Ontario while identifying his favourite medicinal plants. Or enjoying the various events, markets and restaurants in Toronto. He believes in living a life eating good food, being active, enjoying what you love and being kind to one another.
