Dr. Shafiei initially studied clinical medicine, receiving
her MD in 1996 from Iran University of Medical Science.
After practice four years as family doctor she started her
residency in OB/GYN and she worked for over 10 years
in different hospitals, treating patients with
Gynecological and Obstetrical diseases. During her
practice in many fields, she began to see the limits of
modern medical techniques and put her career as an
Obstetrician and Gynecologist on hold to enter The School of Naturopathy, Canadian
College of Naturopathic Medicine in Toronto. She has since then changed her practice to
alternative medicine in Toronto in an effort to treat the whole individual and enlighten
her patients on how to care for themselves in the best way possible. Dr. Shafiei currently
resides in Toronto with her husband and twin daughters.
