Dr Caroline Bearss ND, MEd, BBEC, DOmp graduated from the Canadian College of Naturopathic in 2000. Dr Bearss ND practices in Muskoka, ON and has an on-line virtual clinic. She is very patient-centred, taking the time to listen to and meet the needs of her patients.  

A large focus in Dr Bearss' practice is the function of the brain and mental health. She uses functional tests to diagnose causes and contributing factors for mental, cognitive and neurological health conditions and symptoms. Diet modifications, nutraceuticals, lifestyle changes and behavioural modification are then used to treat the client using a whole person approach. Dr Bearss ND completed a Fellowship in Functional Psychiatry in the USA in 2024 and is studying to be additionally qualified as a Psychotherapist.

She balances the science of naturopathic medicine with the art of approaching each person individually, leading patients through their process of self-care, managing ongoing care and addressing the many causes for a patients' symptoms and diseases.

In person, she uses Dark Field Microscopy, Auricular medicine testing, Environmental testing and other laboratory and in-house testing to reveal “pieces of your health puzzle” of disease and system dysfunction. 

As a Certified Building Biologist and Environmental Consultant, Dr Bearss ND advises, educates and writes about the health effects of buildings. Questions pertaining to the built environment where you work and live will be addressed during naturopathic consultations.

Dr Bearss ND is a certified Kali Natha Yoga instructor (600 hrs of training at a traditional Ashram in Florida), and focuses on movement with focused awareness, physical modification, breath work and meditation. Additionally, Dr Bearss ND is a certified Osteopathic manual practitioner which informs the care she provides for her patients.
