Your periods and menopausal transition should not be something you have to endure or suffer through. Riding a hormonal rollercoaster, being in pain, bleeding heavily, experiencing hot flashes, insomnia, vaginal dryness are not just par for the course. It’s time to change the narrative around menopause and prioritize informed conversations about treatment options with healthcare providers who truly understand your needs. I want to see a shift in the way we talk about perimenopause and menopause towards empowering women to take control of their health.
My education began at the University of Toronto, where I completed an Honours Bachelor’s degree with a double major in Health & Disease and Psychology. From there, I pursued an additional four years of training at the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine and obtained my Naturopathic Doctor accreditation. As a registered member in good standing with the College of Naturopaths of Ontario (CONO) with Therapeutics and Prescribing Authority , I am dedicated to providing the highest quality of care to my patients. I am also an active member of the Ontario Association of Naturopathic Doctors (OAND) and the Canadian Association of Naturopathic Doctors (CAND). I take pride in being one of the few Naturopathic Doctors in Ontario accredited as a Menopause Society Certified Practitioner (MSCP) (formerly known as North American Menopause Society (NAMS) Certified Practitioner), which allows me to provide high-quality care to women going through menopause.
