Dr. Melanie DeCunha is the founder of ONE Health Services. Some say she was born to be a Naturopathic Doctor! Growing up, she would say ‘one day I’m going to make a difference’ and longed to work with children. She has always had a keen interest for helping others, children in particular. She has been a dedicated volunteer within her community and abroad. Some of her most cherished experiences include volunteering in Peru with Global Youth Network, working in numerous schools with children, and supporting her family’s annual Turkey Drive.

Dr. DeCunha graduated from Wilfrid Laurier University in 2009 with an Honours Bachelor of Science in Psychology and Biology. She earned her degree in Naturopathic Medicine from the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine in 2014. Melanie has worked as an intern at the Brampton Civic Hospital, and was on the pediatric focus shift at the Robert Schad Naturopathic Clinic. She is a member of both the Ontario and Canadian Associations of Naturopathic Medicine. Melanie is a truly passionate individual who is driven by helping and empowering others. She is excited to provide her service within local communities, and looks forward to meeting you!

Dr. DeCunha combines her medical training with the naturopathic principles to complete a comprehensive intake and assessment before determining a personalized treatment approach. While some modalities may be more applicable to an individual, a blend of treatments are generally utilized to help a person on their road to recovery or optimize their general health. Some of her most commonly offered services include: hormone balancing, stress management, insomnia support, lifestyle counselling, acupuncture, acute care visits, annual physical exams, well-child checks, and chronic disease management.
