I began my post secondary education at McMaster University for Electrical and Biomedical Engineering. I loved science and wanted to see how it could be applied to the medical field. It soon became apparent that my passion was purely with the health side of my degree. Naturopathic medicine best resonated with my views on healthcare, namely: "A person is more than just a symptom or a prescription" My path led to the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine in Toronto for four years of education in the career I love! I have a general practice though see mostly stress, ADHD and developmental disorders, and fatigue. My philosphy is to address diet and lifestyle factors that help improve your health today as well as for the future. I try to also meet you where you are at - what you are willing to do and what you want to wait on. It all goes back to the personalization of treatment plans that we come up with together. Outside of the clinic, I spend most of my time filling up my phone with pictures of my dog Barkley (see left, see below). My husband and I enjoy quality time with Barkley with daily walks or runs out on the trails. I also love trying new food and I'm not going to lie that I will absolutely indulge in a burrito every now and then.
