I can’t believe how fortunate I am to have found a career as a Naturopathic Doctor. I was always interested in working in health care, and when I began to learn about Naturopathic Medicine it was like a light bulb went off! The philosophies behind this unique medicine fit perfectly with my ideas of health and wellness. Imagine, a system of medicine that considers the innate wisdom of the body, recognizing that symptoms of illness are a sign of imbalance, rather than something to suppress without finding the root cause. I knew I had found the health care profession I belonged it.

I completed my undergraduate degree at Queen’s University in Kingston, Ontario in 2002, graduating with a Bachelor of Science Honors degree in Biology. I then headed straight to Toronto to study Naturopathic Medicine at the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine.

What I love about Naturopathic Medicine is that it allows me to connect one on one with my patients, building a relationship that allows them to feel heard without being judged. My role is to educate my patients about what is going on in their body and why, and empower them to take an active role in their health. Nothing makes me happier than when a patient tells me Naturopathic Medicine has improved their health. My passion for Naturopathic Medicine has grown through observing the amazing results that my patients have achieved, allowing me to experience the tremendous power of Naturopathic Medicine. Even small changes have led to significant results and have empowered my patients to continue to work towards their health and lifestyle goals.

I have learned so much on my journey towards becoming a Naturopathic Doctor since opening my practice in 2006, and I love to share my knowledge with my patients. I am confident that with patience and determination, my patients and I can work together towards achieving all of their health and lifestyle goals, thus bringing them closer to optimal health and allowing them to pursue their life purpose with passion!
