Dr. Koo is a licensed Naturopathic Doctor and Registered Acupuncturist. Naturopathic and Chinese medicine treatments have been of tremendous help with Dr. Koo's own battle with chronic eczema. Dr. Koo is trained in general family medicine and has a special interest in helping to improve the quality of life for those living with chronic conditions such as acne, psoriasis, eczema, Crohn's, colitis, IBS and a host of cardiovascular related conditions like diabetes, hypertension and high cholesterol. Dr. Koo has had specialized training in the area of pain management and acupuncture and is one of a few NDs approved by Canada Post to provide care for chronic low back pain, rotator cuff tendonitis and anxiety. In addition to medical acupuncture, Ian is certified to perform cosmetic acupuncture. As part of an overall health regimen, Ian helps establish individualized, safe and effective weight loss programs.
