Ashley is a passionate practitioner with goals of utilizing Naturopathic Medicine as a powerful tool to bring her patients and the community towards a path to wellness. As a graduate of Brock University with a Bachelor of Science in Community Health Ashley has the scientific background to understand evidence based medicine, and its importance. She is a graduate the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine, a 4 year full time intensive program with training that included more than 4500 hours of classroom training, in current evidence based practices and traditional methods. The program also required 1500 hours of supervised clinical training, by some of the leading Naturopathic Doctors. Ashley has additional registration for Intravenous Infusion Therapy (IVIT). Intervenous Therapy allows for direct administration of nutrients and fluids to the body, ensuring greater absorption and concentration in the cells. Individuals with the following conditions may have benefit – autoimmune, digestive malabsoption, chronic fatigue, immune deficiency, among others. Ashley is a motivated practitioner who works with the patient in establishing treatment plans that will be sustainable for the patient, while getting to the root of concern. Lifestyle counselling and nutrition are often included in many of her treatment plans, this is evident from her love for cooking healthy meals for her family and maintaining and active lifestyle.
