Ann Grimwood
Dr. Ann Grimwood is a compassionate and experienced naturopathic doctor dedicated toproviding evidence-informed, patient-centred care. With over a decade of experience spanningclinical practice, academia, and professional leadership, she brings a thoughtful, collaborativeapproach to supporting patients in achieving their health goals.After earning her Doctor of Naturopathy at the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine(CCNM) Toronto Campus, Dr. Grimwood moved to Metro Vancouver and completed a 2-yearclinical residency at CCNM’s Boucher Campus, where she later served as a Clinical Supervisorand Associate Professor.Clinically, Dr. Grimwood has a special interest in women’s health, mental health, and chronicdisease management. She is committed to fostering an inclusive, respectful clinical environmentwhere patients feel heard, supported, and empowered to make informed decisions about theirhealth.Dr. Grimwood has served on the Board of Directors of the Canadian Association of NaturopathicDoctors since 2020 and currently holds the role of Chair. She has also contributed to globalhealth initiatives through volunteer work in Nicaragua. She is certified in prescriptive authorityand is committed to ongoing professional development, including training in unconscious bias inmedicine and Indigenous cultural safety.Before pursuing naturopathic medicine, Dr. Grimwood spent over 10 years working in outdoorrecreation and education. She remains an avid outdoor enthusiast and enjoys canoeing, cycling,hiking, and skiing. She shares her adventures with her two golden retrievers and values timespent in nature as an essential part of maintaining balance and well-being.
