
Dr. Ann Grimwood is a compassionate and experienced naturopathic doctor dedicated to
providing evidence-informed, patient-centred care. With over a decade of experience spanning
clinical practice, academia, and professional leadership, she brings a thoughtful, collaborative
approach to supporting patients in achieving their health goals.
After earning her Doctor of Naturopathy at the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine
(CCNM) Toronto Campus, Dr. Grimwood moved to Metro Vancouver and completed a 2-year
clinical residency at CCNM’s Boucher Campus, where she later served as a Clinical Supervisor
and Associate Professor.
Clinically, Dr. Grimwood has a special interest in women’s health, mental health, and chronic
disease management. She is committed to fostering an inclusive, respectful clinical environment
where patients feel heard, supported, and empowered to make informed decisions about their
health.
Dr. Grimwood has served on the Board of Directors of the Canadian Association of Naturopathic
Doctors since 2020 and currently holds the role of Chair. She has also contributed to global
health initiatives through volunteer work in Nicaragua. She is certified in prescriptive authority
and is committed to ongoing professional development, including training in unconscious bias in
medicine and Indigenous cultural safety.
Before pursuing naturopathic medicine, Dr. Grimwood spent over 10 years working in outdoor
recreation and education. She remains an avid outdoor enthusiast and enjoys canoeing, cycling,
hiking, and skiing. She shares her adventures with her two golden retrievers and values time
spent in nature as an essential part of maintaining balance and well-being.
